We aimed to design a structure that harmonizes with the light, open atmosphere of its Cornish seaside location. Featuring light thermopine cladding meticulously aligned across all planes, an aquamarine pool, and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that wrap around the building, we have sought to create a refined, beach-chic architectural form, inspired by its surroundings.

The tall pitched roofs allow for double-height spaces, fostering a serene and relaxed atmosphere within. We sought to ensure that the design would not only reflect the natural beauty of the coastal environment but also enhance the experience of those who inhabit or visit the space. By prioritising open, airy spaces and an abundance of natural light, the architecture creates a seamless connection between the interior and the rear garden recreation spaces.
